Statement

I create art as a means of finding new ways to exist in a hard world. Using traditional drawing and painting, I focus on those things I find most difficult to understand. I try to show the traces of what I feel as real, both physical and symbolic, which in turn allows me to [re]find myself and [re]build myself. I keep in mind the concept of transformation and death, taking death as both biological cessation and acceptance of impermanence, and the transformation of light and space in the face of internal and external personal changes.

OF IMPERMANENCE

Since the uncertain falls on the ulterior, it is not possible to object to the future, to die is an unforeseen and is the inevitable, our being here is a constant change. “The understanding of impermanence is, paradoxically, the only thing we can hold on to, perhaps our only lasting possession. What is our life but a dance of ephemeral forms? Isn't everything constantly changing? What can we say about us? Only the present moment, the "now", really belongs to us ". Death, as a dimension of life, and as a biological deprivation, manages to confront us with our reality and places us in the present. Death as an inevitable future stalks us at all times, making it conscious makes us humble, because it allows us to flow with life. We interpret that death is a separation in being, "Death, analogically, is the biological deprivation of all vital functions, supposes a breakdown, a rupture or separation of every earthly nexus for the passage to the intimate nexus of origin." The end of being here is death. "Existence is interwoven and composed of temporality ... but the original time of existence is not a succession of moments, but integration, in the present, of the past and future."

The human body is constituted by the same matter, the same chemical components that make up the stars. In that sense, we are ‘children of the stars. We witness death in everything we know, our own matter, achieves cycles of life and death. Death is renewal, regeneration. confronting the reality of death allows us to found unlimited creativity and value to the present, to the now. The denial of death is the denial of a state of life itself, this denial leads us to a state of superficial occurrence and poor stability. We take the act of dying in many ways, mostly negative, “death is not depressing or seductive; It is simply a fact of life. ” Fear afflicts us, living with fear is simply, so to speak, not living. "That which we call" corpse "and that we fear so much is living with us here and now."

Pictures A garment that belonged to someone, contains its character, its taste, its time, it shows us its permanence and praises the memories. But here, the body, the bearer no longer exists, it is only a concept that reality, that non-body, is the concept of the impermanent. A portrait is the interpretation of one being over another. A paraphrase between peers, either between the portrayed and the one who portrays or between the viewer. It is to show the human being, complete, without belonging to time.
